Recently I was reading an interesting article Cruise Lines Dress Code; about What is the Dress Code on the different Cruise Lines. Why is this so important? If you are planning a Cruise Vacation, you probably want to take the most of it and knowing a few things before your voyage can save you some headaches. We all can have different opinions of what is casual, formal or elegant. Let us then be aware of what Cruise Lines Requires us to wear.
Here are a few tips that can keep you informed and secure that you'll going to have the time of your life:
- No official formal nights - This is a great option for the ones that doesn't want anyone to tell what, where and how to be dressed. Cruise Lines with this policy are: Azamara Club Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Windstar Cruises. *Most cruise lines have written restrictions regarding jeans.
- Wear shoes all times - You'll be required to wear shoes in all main dining rooms.
- Rent option - Most cruise lines gives the option to buy or rent formal or elegant attire.
- Formal Nights will depend of voyage lenght - Voyages from 2-5 nights can have one formal night, while longer voyages could have 2-3 formal nights.
- Ask your travel consultant - Feel free to ask your travel agent/consultant any question you may still have regarding dress code in a particular Cruise Line.
The most important thing is for you and your family have a great time, don't let minor things like this one to keep you away from enjoying your "Dream Vacation".
